Ambassadors for Our Pets

Equine Alternatives' mission is to bridge the gap between animals and humans. Our noble companions frequently hide their impositions and pain. Symptoms and issues can remain hidden after damage has been done, but diligence and devotion can heal and prevent harm.

With techniques distilled from kinesiology, science, and spirituality we can determine wide-ranging factors driving an animal's health. Many genetic, lifestyle, physical, mental, and behavioral influences affect animals as it does ourselves.

Integrated kinesiology lends the animal a voice through which they can express themselves. This experience creates noticeably deeper bonds with the owner. Once we understand their concerns, we explore remedies to restore and rejuvenate our naturally happy animal.

“But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; and the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?

Animal Iridology Assessments and Classes

Animal eyes, more than just windows to the soul

Animal Iridology is the study of the iris, the colored part of the eye. The iris records pains, parasites, stresses, and toxicities from the different parts of the body through the nervous system. It is an amazing modality that can be very pet owner friendly with the advancement of cell phones. I am currently offering classes as well as individual assessments for horse, dog and cat lovers across the world. To submit eyes you will need to be able to photograph or video a close up with good lighting.

Then God said, “I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.

No one knows how Trinity severed her accessory carpal bone. The veterinarians gave the owner little to no hope. Trinity was sentenced to being lame and a pasture pet for the rest of her life. The owner, not willing to accept this without trying something reached out to Equine Alternatives. Through a combination of prayer, herbal remedies, essential oil therapy, homeopathy, and nutrition, we are all elated that despited the odds her knee has been given a clean bill of health by her veterinarian.

This ranch dog was confiscated after the owner did not seek medical attention other than pain meds. We tried to pull strings with vet friends and rescues but no one would do the surgery for less than several thousands and none of us had that sort of money to spend. We asked Poppy to help. She knew we were out of options and was willing to give it a shot. Around 4 weeks, surprising all of us, the dog was getting stronger and was starting to use his leg. By 6 weeks the dog was completely bearing weight and was able to be re-homed to a new owner. The vet could not believe that femur healed with no surgery and admitted that even if we did do the surgery, the short amount of time to heal would have been impossible.

Poppy Phillips with Eq Alternatives

Continues to amaze me!

Her extensive knowledge in equine healing methods are ingenious!
Her innate and intuitive discernment is uncanny.

What I admire the most, is that Poppy will stand by you every moment of your plight.

Following through at every turn.

Praying without ceasing for the best outcome possible.

She was so instrumental in the healing process

with my 25 year old Friesian.

Duek was featured on The Mask of Zorro, and we will forever be indebted to her, as he is completely well after 3 months of a bacterial infection!

Forever grateful,

Kristi Ullman and Duek

Hi Poppy,
I just wanted to give you an update on Cheyenne and us. Cheyenne is doing fabulous, the herbs are working and she is now mostly sound, we enjoy watching her canter and buck around on her own. Thats something we've never seen from her before!
Tony and I have moved off of Erin's ranch and we are living in Lincoln. We miss the ranch, but how are luck has improved since then! Just the other day we were talking about what has changed and we realized that you had said something about us having bad luck. Ever since we moved we've been presented with opportunity after opportunity. We think it was being on the ranch. Anyway, thank you so much for helping us, you've made a hard year bright!

I took Poppy’s class in January 2010; I have always been a bit of a skeptic when it comes to this type of

thing. I found the class was so helpful. It was fun to be able to try it 1st on the other people that came

to the clinic because we did not know each other very well; we were able to see how the process

worked. It worked! I was paired with someone I had never met before that day; in fact I just knew her

name. I found out information about where she had pain and her other ailments. When we switched

partners I was paired with Poppy and the other thing that I kept thinking was, “I hope we get to work on

the horses soon,” which was one of the 1st things out of her mouth. When we started on the horses I

picked up right where my horse was sore. On further investigation, I found my horse had lower back

pain as well as pain in his hocks and soles. The next week my horse went to the chiropractor and she

could not find the pain, so I kind of gave up. Then about a month later I took him to the vet to check his

hocks and soles. When the vet looked at him he saw that my horse was sore- in the hock, which is usual

for him because my horse has bone spur in his hocks, also that his soles were sore. The vet also

checked his back and said my horse was sore in the lower back, right where I found on the day of the

clinic. That really sold me on this process. Now some of you may say, “Well you must have told the vet

about what you found at the clinic”, but that could not be farther from the truth. The vet had no idea. I

look forward to the next clinic with Poppy and to learn much more about this process as well as learn

more about my horse!

Thank you Poppy
